School Age Child Care

It is a pleasure for MILA Elementary to offer to our parents the School Age Child Care Program (SACC).  This page will help to answer your most asked questions.  Our staff is anxious to work with your children and look forward to an enriching year!

 

Days and Hours:

We are pleased to offer a before and after care to coincide with the 180 day board adopted student calendar and one inservice day.  Our hours for before care begin at 6:30 AM.  Your child will be released to report to their classrooms at 8:00 AM.  The hours for after care are from 2:30 PM until 6:00 PM.  On the one inservice day (February 16), hours of operation will be 6:30 AM through 5:30 PM.

 

Fees and Payments

    The registration fee is $25.00 for your first child and $15.00 for each additional child.Payment is due on the first day of attendance every week.  Before care:  $26.00, After care:  $46.00, Before and After care:  $50.00.  There is a $10.00 Returned Check Fee and a $10.00 Late Payment Fee.  There is a $10.00 fee for late pick-up also for each 15-minute increment.

 

Snacks

    A snack will be provided daily with attention to nutrition (2% milk/yogurt and soy milk/yogurt will be offered).  All juice will be 100% pasteurized fruit juice, no sugar added.  Some juice will be organic when available.

 

Activities

    We will provide a variety of age-appropriate activities throughout the year.  Homework assistance will be provided Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM.
